How to Leave an Agency
A calm, practical sequence for exiting a management deal without losing your accounts, content, or income.
Read before you announce
Find your term, notice period, and any exit or non-circumvention clauses before you tell anyone. Know exactly what you signed — and keep your own copies of everything: contracts, statements, content, and account credentials.
Secure what is yours first
Your accounts, content library, and payout destinations are your business. Confirm you hold working access to all of them, and change shared passwords as part of the handover — not as a fight, as hygiene.
Give notice in writing
Written notice, dated, kept. A professional exit is documented: final statement requested, access revocation confirmed, and any genuinely fronted costs itemized and settled — never a vague lump sum.
Restart without a gap
Your fans do not need to know anything changed. A new team's first job is continuity: posting cadence, DMs, and promotion carry on while the back office changes hands. That is how we run switches.
Now compare us against the guide.
That's what it's for. Start with your numbers in the simulator.
