Agency Fees, Explained Honestly
Gross, net, platform cuts, and why the percentage alone never tells you what an agency costs.
Gross is not net
Platforms keep their cut first — commonly around 20%. An agency percentage quoted on gross and one quoted on net are different prices wearing the same number. Always ask: a percentage of what, exactly?
Add-ons are where the real price hides
Chatting billed separately, promotion billed separately, DMCA as an upsell, a cut of brand deals on top — stack the add-ons and a 'cheap' headline rate can cost more than an all-in one. Demand the full list, in writing.
How our math works
One flat rate on net: 45% for new creators and creators under $20,000 a month gross; 40% once you are over — granted automatically after two consecutive months over, with no bounce-back. Platform, app, Digital Twin, chatting, promotion, DMCA, and brand deals are all inside it.
Run any agency's numbers yourself
Take a month you already had. Subtract the platform cut. Multiply by the agency's rate. Then add every add-on. That total — not the headline percentage — is the price. Our Growth Simulator does this math with your own numbers.
Now compare us against the guide.
That's what it's for. Start with your numbers in the simulator.
